Airspeed Old Style Watch: Steel body with a black dial / green numerals, and a black leather band.
Airspeed Line Retro. Calibre Unitas 6498-1 (hand-winding, with small second indication). All stainless steel case, screw-in see-through case back, sappphire crystal, water-resistant to 100 m / 330 feet. Assorted dials. Diameter 43.5 mm.
At the beginning of the 1920s, the company Revue Thommen started manufacturing aircraft instruments. It is for this reason that it is more familiar with the special needs of pilots than any other watch manufacturer.
The Airspeed self winding wristwatches and chronographs were inspired by the instrument panels of commercial and military aircraft that are equipped with Revue Thommen precision instruments.
