GPS ATTENUATOR / TNC
When used with 26.5dB gain ComDat GPS antennas, the CI 511 GPS Attenuator allows operation of Garmin GPS systems that require 17dB gain.
The CI 511 reduces RF gain by 12dB. Built-in bias bypass circuit allows full supply voltage, provided by the GPS receiver, to pass directly to the active GPSantenna without DC voltage drops. Current supply is not reduced.
Should the Garmin GPS system later be upgraded to WAAS and 26.5dB gain, simply remove the CI 511 from the coax. The antenna will not have to be removed and replaced.
